Jon Moxley shares his thoughts on Nakamura & The G1 Climax

Jon Moxley recently did an interview with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The IWGP Untied States Champion shared his thoughts on Shinsuke Nakamura and performing in the G1 Climax.

“Well, Shinsuke Nakamura is in WWE and doing very well. I never got to wrestle him sadly, but he heard that I was likely going over to be in the G1 and he was very pleased, said it was a great life experience. Karl Anderson, who I’ve actually been friends with since I was 18, since we’re both from Cincinnati. I asked him about the G1, a few others as well, and everybody was great and said ‘yeah, go for it.”

Nakamura opens up on how much longer he plans to wrestle

Shinsuke Nakamura is preparing to wrestle Seth Rollins at WWE’s upcoming event in Singapore. The “King of Strong Style” recently sat down with straitstimes.com to promote the upcoming event. Nakamura touched on a number of topics, including how much longer he plans to wrestle.

“I want to wrestle at least five more years. I’m 39 now. Baseball player Ichiro Suzuki retired at 45 and he was such an influence for Japanese sportsmen, especially those who lived in other countries, and so I need to wrestle until I’m 45 years old,” he mused.
